A really well-delivered message about the “Straw Feminist” trope, a stereotype that depicts feminists as irrational misandrists who are out of touch with reality (which, according to Hollywood writers, is a world where sexism no longer exists), thus should be disregarded as nutty. This discourages people from associating with feminism because most of their exposure to it is this alarming misrepresentation.
